SJA’s big 15th annual fundraiser known as the Cabaret will pay tribute to Woodstock with their theme title “St. Joan of Arc Cabaret 1969: Celebrating Peace, Love & 40 Years of Church In the Gym.” With up to 35 performers scheduled for each night, expect the celebration of Woodstock (minus the muddy rains) offering peace loving pop and folk music as well as a look back at some treasured memories of 1969 from the community of St. Joan's. Both nights present some of the finest Twin Cities musicians like Dennis Spears, Debbie Duncan, Mary Jane Alm, Gwen Matthews, Billy McLaughlin and Larry Long (just to name a few) and all under the musical direction of Dan Chouinard. This spectacularly fun four hour concert format will include raffle ticket prizes, yummy snacks, drinks and plenty of infectious humor. An event that wryly puts the meaning of fun back into a fundraiser, do not miss what continues to be the Twin Cities concert celebration of the year.
