I trust that you all had
a safe and happy Holiday Season. I sure
did! December always proves to be a whirlwind
for me because of the great pleasure of
performing with my family, The Peterson's,
for our annual Peterson Family Christmas.
We had 6 sold-out shows! All three generations
managed to get together to create new versions
of beloved Holiday songs at the Dakota Bar
in downtown Minneapolis. It is a legendary
jazz club where I perform a great deal.
To all of you who came out to catch a performance
this year, Thank You!!!!
I had a wonderful year in 2004. Here are
some of the highlights: in January, The
Peterson Family performed a sold out concert
at the Hopkins Fine Arts Center where we
released our Peterson Family Compilation
CD. It was great to have everyone together
once again to do what we love the most...
make music as a family! In February and
March, I performed at the Sofitel and at
Rossi's in Minneapolis and emceed many events
as well. In May, The Peterson's were the
honored guests and entertainers for the
M.C. Little Hospice Center in Edina. The
month of June found me performing at the
Dakota for the Hot Summer Jazz Festival.
I brought along Chris Lomheim on piano,
Tony Axtel on bass, and Michael Pilhofer
on drums. We had so much fun working together
that we decided that this was to be my band!
In June, I performed as a motivational singer
for the Unity Church Convention. I was joined
by my mother, Jeanne Arland, on piano and
the people commented on how moved they were
by the choice of songs as well as mom's
piano playing! She is so brilliant! Lori
Dokken and I started performing together
as a duo Monday nights at the Times Bar
and Cafe and have created some incredible
arrangements on songs you will love. We
hope you will check out my
Schedule for show times and come see
us! Also, look for Lori and I at the Dakota
in March of 2005. In the summer and fall,
I added Redstone's to my list of favorite
clubs and performed many times on their
beautiful outdoor patio. My brother Billy
joined me on several of the dates when he
was home from the Steve Miller tour. November
brought me back to the Dakota with 'my band'
to celebrate my 50th Birthday. That night
I re-released my first CD called The
More I See You and sold-out both nights
at the Dakota. Click here for A
Review of The More I See You.
Look for the DVD of the celebration on my
site in the near future as well. In November,
I emceed The Edge Life Expo, a weekend devoted
to Mind, Body and Soul. It was an honor
to be involved with an event that looks
to create the opposite of what we are exposed
to in the media everyday. Gary and Insiah
Beckman, you are to be thanked for your
inspiration! Finally, as I already mentioned,
I finished out the year performing at the
Dakota with my wonderful Peterson Family
at our Christmas concerts.
Throughout the year, I also performed at
several private parties and worked on several
recording sessions, voice-overs and radio
sessions. These are things I am very active
in even though I have not publicized this
on my site. Just e-mail me at patty@pattypeterson.com
if there is any way I can help you with
these areas.
There are a lot of exciting things happening
in 2005 already. This month, I will be on
the Smooth Jazz Cruise with Oleta Adams
and Dave Koz. What a wonderful way to start
the year!

Please come out to see me and my family
and please say hello when you do. Please
also remember to keep checking my website
for more updates and to see where I am performing.
Thank you very much.
Love and Blessings,
Patty Peterson
